Mr. Merkel — title image with portrait

Angela Merkel is no longer Chancellor. But as she gradually returns to public life, her husband wants only one thing: to remain invisible. Joachim Sauer is a brilliant scientist, a decent man and anything but a natural First Gentleman. In a world dominated by loud and spectacularly self-important men, HERR MERKEL tells the story of a man who wants no power, no attention and certainly no spotlight, yet suddenly finds himself at the centre of it all.
