Tunisia, summer 2010. Ben is 17, half German and half Tunisian. As he does every year, he spends the holidays with his family at his grandparents’ house by the sea. But for the first time, he watches the paradise of his childhood begin to fall apart. By the end of the summer, a family has been torn apart, a friendship destroyed and a revolution has begun.
